The lady who owned this costume shop in the Midwest was in business since the xxxxs. The contents for sale include over 5,300 vintage costumes and vintage clothing, 125 mostly handmade “Folk Art” animal and character heads, along with 258 furry costumes for the heads. Also included are 1,450 wigs of all kinds and 63 boxes of miscellaneous items including: vintage clothing and accessories, fabric trim and scraps, sewing supplies, gloves and much more. There is a very large supply of costume cosmetics in addition to 835 masks made of plastic, rubber and/or latex. Also included in the sale is a large quantity of vintage novelty items including magic tricks, gag items, and costume accessories. More boxes contain 986 leotards, tights and fishnet stockings - a large proportion still in boxes are dead stock from the xxxxs 'till more recent. Don't forget 1,955 hats of all types too numerous to describe. Two unusual vintage carousal style clothing racks plus many more common racks are a part of the sale as well. And finally, there is a grouping of various vintage and household items such as camera equipment, dishes etc. that will also be included.
