Job Description
This is a permanent full time outside sales position. You will be driving to different locations throughout your assigned territory. In this role, the individual will be responsible for selling maintenance agreements. These agreements will be for parts and service; in servicing heavy equipment. You must have a clean driving record in order to drive company vehicle.
Qualifiers
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must have Product Support Sales experience
College degree preferred.
Current driver s license.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in related field or equivalent technical background.
Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write) in English.
Service or Parts experience at Komatsu, Caterpillar or other dealer preferred.
Must have sales skills to effectively help the client to overcome objections and close the sale
Must be a motivated self-starter.
Must have interpersonal skills sufficient to assist clients and employees in a professional manor.
Must be able to fully comprehend hydraulic and electrical schematics
Must be Competent in MS Excel / Word / Outlook (email)
Must have sufficient mechanic knowledge to understand client equipment opportunities.
Must have sufficient knowledge to effectively utilize Internet, e-mail, Spreadsheets, word processing programs and database management.
Ability to maintain consistent attendance.
Proficient computer technology skills, including the ability to utilize Company authorized software.
Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with all co-workers, customers and the general public.
Adequate math skills to prepare parts and service quotes for customer information

Minimum Req:
HS diploma or equivalent
Must have Product Support Sales experience
3-5 years experience in construction and/or mining equipment industry.
Good organizational skills and basic computer skills.
Must have good communication skills.
Valid State Driver s License and acceptable driving record.
Occasional travel and overnight stays
Prior Heavy Equipment parts sales (mining industry) preferred
