Roles and Responsibilities:
:
GPS SE and I Engineer responsible for Process evaluation and control, including reviewing to increase efficiency of systems engineering and control processes, developing and executing changes to existing processes, and comparing GPS processes, including updates and changes, to SMC, USAF, DoD and industry standards
:
Responsible for systems level Enterprise engineering efforts, to include planning, organizing, managing, implementing and controlling efforts while interacting with development prime contractors to ensure that SEP updates are appropriately reflected in the Systems Engineering and Management Plan and verifying compliance of the SEMP with Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test directives and policies

Responsible for developing and maintaining a systems engineering training program, to include generating training materials and presenting to Directorate team members, training new personnel as well as recurring training, creating and distributing concise and easily carried reference guides that summarize key Directorate processes Interface with a variety of organizations, including engineering process boards, Enterprise level Technical Reviews, Document Control Board, Enterprise and external agency reviews, and the Enterprise SEP

Conduct special studies and analyses
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
:
Bachelors degree in engineering or similar technical degree with minimum of 5 years relevant experience or an additional 4 years of experience in GPS and/or DoD processes needed in lieu of degree
:
Experience with SMC, USAF, and DoD processes
:
Must have a current Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Security Clearance
:
Ability to provide a wide variety of technical analyses and program management support to a government customer
:
Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills
:
Must be an effective communicator with excellent briefing skills
