Altec Lansing A-124 Transformer and Record Lathe 6L6 Tube Amplifiers Pair $4000 in Los Angeles, California For Sale

Here is an Amazing and Beautiful Matched Pair of Vintage Altec Lansing A-124 "Red White & Blue" Transformer, "Record Cutting Lathe" Rackmount 6L6 Tube Amplifiers. Very early pair which came out of a very old recording studio. These are 500O input amps so they were originally intended for record cutting use but work equally as nice for audio when you have 500O matching transformers. They have been stored for many many years so I brought them up slowly using my General Radio Variac and they sound amazing. They are in excellent cosmetic and working condition as shown. Insides are equally as clean and beautiful. Each amp has RWB transformers TBB-103, TJ-604, TL-504A and TL-203-A. Each amp uses a 5Z3, 2- 6SJ7's and 2- 6L6G's. Both amps have front covers with the schematics inside. Only one amp has the rear tube cage as shown but at least there is one if you wanted to have a second one fabricated. Each unit measures about 19"w x 10"h x 9"d at 47 lbs. These rarely come up for sale, so this is quite a unique opportunity to purchase a matched pair for studio use. These will make a wonderful addition to anyone's collection.
