i've been a professional in the music business for about 25 years.
now if you read that and said to yourself, "i'd love to look back after
25 years and know i'm still working and creating and growing in this business."
then as a fellow beater of skins and someone who's on the cusp of
going for it as a professional, i encourage you to read on.
i saw a great sign up the other week that said
"great judgement comes from experience and experience
comes from bad judgement."
mistakes are part of learning but an opportunity
to gain wisdom can cut a lot of mistakes out of the journey.
so i decided to create a one on one, custom workshop experience that
can fully help out an aspiring or budding young drummer on the road to
a potential professional career
here's what we'll cover
1 - a complete ergonomic breakdown of your setup, your posture
and how applicable and efficient you are or aren't.
2 - evaluate your execution and attack and help you determine the most
ideal stick and head choice to maximize your sound
3 - if you can't tune, or have issues or want more tricks about tuning i have you
completely covered. i'm an accomplished drummer but also an accomplished and
richly diverse drum tech. i'm lucky to have been exposed to enough diversity to
gain many tricks in tuning. and once again my teacher as a teenager offered me
amazing wisdom that was a great foundation for learning about the world of
drum tuning for personality and emotion
4 - of course i'll be your consultant. through your submission of goals, i'll be
able to offer sound, honest, no holds barred advice about how you can go
about achieving them. (obviously after this session, we can always talk forever
on facebook).
5- and last but not least I'll reveal to you what i believe is a powerful
perspective on our role as drummer that could alter your mindset forever
in the professional arena.
i'm offering you a very powerful and eye opening 2 hour custom and personal clinic
for $100. the 2 hours is a mark. i'm fully passionate about bleeding into a 3rd hour
at no extra cost if we are entrenched in some serious work. i recommend you bring your
own 4 or 5 piece set for maximum applicable knowledge BUT i have plenty
of gear to build a kit for you if that is more convenient.
