Moog Minimoog with Synthfool Opto-Key + Midi $2200 in Los Angeles, California For Sale

This one is in beautiful cosmetic condition and working 100%. It has just come back from being serviced by Kevin Lightner and as usual Kevin did a magnificent job. This is likely the nicest cosmetic and best functioning Minimoog. As the title says, this one has the Synthfool Minimoog Opto-Key. Think about never having to clean your key contacts again and having Midi In & Out without having to drill permanent holes on your Minimoog. This modification is completely reversible and can be returned to stock. The midi cables come through the hole in the unit's cabinet where the cinch connectors meet. Please go to the Synthfool website if you want to know the specs. As you can see, this one is a later model and has the buffer board for better reliability. The cabinet might look a bit yellow in the photos, but that's not the case.
Cosmetically- Nothing is ever mint in my opinion, but this Minimoog comes close. There will be some imperfections here and there, but they will be hard to see. The original wood cabinet has been restored and looks beautiful as the photos show. The back metal panel has been re-anodized, it has all new keys, all new knobs, all washers & nuts replaced, and all new screws.
Internally- Apart from any repairs, this one was fully disassembled, cleaned, all electrolytic capacitors replaced (all boards + power supply), all trimmers replaced on oscillator board with Bourns cermets, the waveform switches replaced, octave selector switches modified to use second set of contacts for better reliability, several new potentiometers throughout the unit, bleed-through modification done on mod-wheel, has a new power cord, the edge card connectors resoldered, everything tightened, the keyboard disassembled and cleaned/lubed, new key bushings, the Opto-Key/Midi mod installed, all keys leveled, and the synth has been completely calibrated.
