My name is Raul Alcantara and I am a musician and educator. I have been teaching music for the past 16 years ranging from ages 6-83, all levels of ability: Piano, Guitar, Bass, Drums, Percussion, Theory and Composition/Songwriting
I have performed extensively throughout for the past 20 years, as a member of various groups and ensembles and as a solo artist. I am an active musician and I am actively performing.
I offer lessons either in the privacy and convenience of your home or at my studio.
I am offering lessons for:
Piano/Keyboard - Beginner to Intermediate
Guitar - Beginner to Advanced
Bass - Beginner to Advanced
Composition/Songwriting - Beginner to Advanced
A variety of styles from Rock, Blues, Funk to Jazz, Classical, and in between.
Tuition:
? $25 for a 30 minute lesson
? $35 for a 45 minute lesson
? $40 for a 60 minute lesson
I am offering a Free 30-Minute Trial Lesson. I would like to offer the opportunity to try a lesson at no cost. The best way to do this (after speaking with me over the phone, or exchanging e-mails etc.) is to meet face to face.

Lessons are tailored to each student's instrument, needs and learning pace. Offering students the music they love to play so that they stay motivated to learn and practice. Students study ear training, notation, rhythm, technique, memorization, sight-reading, improvisation and music theory.
