G'day! My name is Jake. I am a professional bass player, been playing for 15 years, all styles -- rock, funk, slap, groove, blues, walking, picking, theory, scales, chords, riffs, everything! I know the theory and I know how to rock, so let's do it.
I am from Australia where I ran my own bass school for kids to adults. I recently relocated to LA. I come from a musical family, picked up the guitar in my early teens, moved to bass 15 years ago and been rockin ever since! I have been in pro touring bands, taking me from Europe to the US, from the Polynesian Islands, to Australia.
