I am a violinist available for gigs including solo, chamber music, weddings, special events and services, recordings, and anything else you might need. I have over a decade of experience playing weddings, events, and gigs, and I really enjoy performing for all types of special occassions, events or recordings. I can accommodate any special musical requests.
I received a undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley and a masters degree in violin performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, studying under Camilla Wicks. I have performed as a soloist and concertmaster with numerous orchestras including in the Sydney Opera House, the Orange County Performing Arts Center, and San Francisco's Davies Symphony Hall. I also have extensive orchestral, chamber music (string quartets) and competition experience, and knowledgeable in music theory.
I also offer violin lessons for all skill levels (beginning to advanced), as well as beginning to intermediate piano. All ages welcome. Reasonable rates and over a decade of teaching experience. Most importantly I am very passionate and enthusiastic about music and teaching. I believe lessons should be fun but productive, and lessons can be tailored to fit your specific needs / songs you would like to learn. I drive to your residence for your convenience.
