We seek a Business Consulting Manager in the Pharmaceutical/Health Care industryto join our Los Angeles, CA office to lead marketing consulting efforts with west coast clients.The Business Consulting Manager will be responsible for helping build the marketing practice by generating new business opportunities and building trusted advisory relationships with key stake holders in life sciences.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
:Partner with West Coast leaders to drive business development and client relationships;
:Consistently deliver quality client services and drive high:quality work products within expected timeframes and on budget;
:Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes;
:Effectively lead and motivate teams with diverse skills and backgrounds;
:Play an active role in counseling and mentoring junior team members within ZS;
:Demonstrate deep life sciences industry sector knowledge;
:Demonstrate deep functional expertise in marketing strategy;
:Demonstrate ability to quickly assimilate new knowledge;
:Possess in depth business acumen;
:Stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the clients business;
:Remain current on new developments in advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge.
QUALIFICATIONS:
:MBA, with a strong record of academic success;
:4+ years' combined experience in life science marketing strategy consulting and / or marketing or strategy role in life science company,minimum of 2:3 years post:MBA experience(experience in management consulting required);
:Internal candidates must be at the Manager level;
:Demonstrated experience driving revenue within existing clients;
:Prior experience in life science product launch;
:Deep knowledge of strategic brand segmentation, targeting and positioning;
:Characteristics of a forward thinker and self:starter that thrives on new challenges and adapts quickly to learning new knowledge;
:Ability to lead a virtual team of consulting professionals across multiple projects; experience working with teams in India a plus;
:A high level of motivation and self:starting attitude Strong analytical and problem:solving skills;
:Excellent oral and written communication skills;
:A strong work ethic;
:A willingness to travel to meet client needs.
