Ideal Senior Financial Analyst shall have experience with financial modeling, reporting, trends analysis, budgeting and forecasting. The Senior Financial Analyst will work directly with, and act as a financial business partner to the CFO and CAO, contributing to decisions related to operational planning & financial metrics. S/he will manage the work on various recurring analytics as well as ad-hoc projects related to operational efficiencies, supply-chain, business planning, reporting and analytics. The Senior Financial Analyst will also work closely with other key senior management and members of the organization cross-functionally, to modify and develop standardized, effective planning models and analytical reporting that can easily be consolidated into recurring global plans and reporting. What are the responsibilities of the Senior Financial Analys t role? Develop or enhance recurring reporting and financial plans/analytics to drive long-term profitability and productivity for the business. Assist in reviewing and developing models and analytics to determine expected customer returns data and more comprehensive understanding to be used during the planning and reporting process. Develop, prepare and distribute timely and insightful reporting, metrics & analytics: to determine revenue, margin & productivity progress against strategic plans, budget and forecast to support decision-making to actively interpret and review financial results with the Finance organization to identify trends, risks and opportunities to drive actionable responses toward growth, profitability and productivity improvements Analyze market data to determine Company performance against industry trends. Prepare reporting and analytics for, and participate in, operational supply-chain reviews and hindsight meetings Analyze product costs, delivering actionable insights, and work with team to improve overall contribution margins and margins on key programs Work cross-functionally within the supply chain to understand product-specific lead times, minimum order quantities, constraints, etc. in support of providing insightful information & recommendations relevant to planning and business management Develop, maintain, execute and communicate expectations and financial plans (revenue and margin) that are aligned with the strategies and global priorities Analyze pricing and work with Finance and Sales teams on global pricing matrix Work cross-functionally within the sales teams to understand region, channel and customer specific needs and requirements in support of providing insightful information & recommendations relevant to planning and business management Partner with Finance and Forecasting to collaboratively manage inventory Jointly manage, with the Sales and Forecasting teams, the best course of action for inventory overages/shortages, returned merchandise, and inventory exit strategies Provide direct support to Corporate Finance with financial modeling, reporting and analytics for weekly, monthly, quarterly & annual reporting, as well as ad-hoc reporting and special requests from cross-functional managers and the Company’s Executive Team Exhibit flexibility and willingness to take on new responsibilities and assist with various ad-hoc projects as required. est SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST What experience is preferred for the Senior Financial Analyst role? Bachelor’s degree required; CPA or MBA preferred 3-6+ years of progressive experience in analytics, financial planning and analysis, Operational Finance, Merchandise Planning, Demand Planning and/or Forecasting required CPG / Retail / Global / Multi-Channel experience preferred Strong understanding of relational databases, data structure and data elements, with an ability to analyze and/or extract and manipulate large and complex data sets Advanced experience in all MS Office programs; Expert-level skills in Excel Strong analytical and problem solving skills Strong negotiating and influencing skills required, with the ability to form an opinion and the willingness to make recommendations Proven ability to work in a matrix organization and team-based work structure; ability to work cooperatively in diverse cross-functional groups; ability to remain flexible and to change within the work environment and scope of responsibility Project and process management experience preferred; strong organizational skills Strong written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the organization Detail-oriented and self-motivated, with the ability to work well under pressure and deadlines; demonstrates initiative, is conscientious and provides complete follow-through on areas of responsibility Salary Range for Senior Accountant role: $70,000 – $90,000 annually + Disc.
