The Opportunity: Our client is a successful and well established Escrow Agent with over 20 years of experience in the industry. We are looking for an experienced Escrow Assistant to join their Santa Monica office. This is a busy, fast:paced escrow environment that handles a large number of escrows per month. What You'll Do: Transaction Management: You will be the main processor involved in the transaction to ensure the escrow packages go out to Buyer and Sellers accurately and timely. You will provide a valuable log of communication for the Escrow Officers as well as coordinating closing documents to go out to Real Estate Agents at the close of escrow. Follow:through: You will make sure opening packages are received, demands are ordered, and closing packages are received by all parties in need of documents.Create Structure: You will assist the Escrow Officer as needed. Own It: You will play a significant role in the success of the business and will take on this responsibility with a sense of ownership, commitment, honesty, and integrity. This includes providing world class, concierge:level customer service to clients. You will keep all parties informed and involved during the transaction process in a timely and professional manner. Who You Are: Escrow Experience: You have 1 + years of Southern California escrow experience. Transactions Expert: You understand what it takes to get deals done. You understand the urgency involved and the importance of clear and continuous communication with all parties involved in the deal. Know how to process the new GFE and HUD regulations SUPER Organized: You pay attention to the smallest detail and are able to juggle multiple projects efficiently all while staying focused and keeping a smile on your face. You excel at following up and following through and love checklists. Tech:Savvy: You are comfortable with database management, CRM programs and Computer Software such as Zipforms, Docusign, MLS, MS Office, Adobe, MS Excel, GoogleDocs. Perfectionist : within reason: You like things done right and in their proper place. You operate with a high level of professionalism and present yourself as such. You also understand the importance of meeting deadlines and you are able to balance your perfectionist tendencies with the need to move projects along quickly. The ULTIMATE Team Player: You know that your strengths are best utilized in a supportive role and value the importance of having a strong team. You are willing to work 40 hours per week. You also have a reliable form of transportation and are licensed and insured.
