Large room available in Spanish Revival bungalow in Echo Park, between downtown and Silver Lake, and near the 2, 5, 101, 110, and 134 freeways, and the #2 and #4 buses. The building is on a very quiet and safe street, and it's mostly filled with young creative types. Street parking only, but it's always easy to find a space and you're never forced to wake early to move your car, and while there are no laundry facilities in the building, there are several laundromats located nearby. The room is partly furnished with a desk and queen-size bed. The rent includes utilities. I'm not asking for a deposit. This is a short-term arrangement, ideal for someone who's just moved to LA and is looking for a longtime situation or a person who for whatever reason is between apartments and needs a place for a few weeks or months. Pets are prohibited unfortunately, and I can't accommodate a couple. Other than that, my only requirements are that you pay the rent on the first of the month, and that you're quiet and discreet, in keeping with the character of the building. I'm including photos not only of the listed room but the living room, where I live, and the dining room, which I use as a home office.
