Minimum Requirements
The Walt Disney Company partners with licensees and distributors to move its product through retail outlets. In this role, you will work collaboratively with an experienced, internal Disney category management team and develop retail relationships and sales and marketing initiatives that are tailor-made for the relevant retail accounts. This range covers fun, family fashion items. Seeking new products and new ways to drive sales are core to the role as well.
To succeed in the role, you will need:
1. An undergraduate business degree
2. 5 year's working experience
3. Track record of setting strategies, business plans, budgets and market activations
4. Ability to sell, negotiate and be creative
5. Experience multi-tasking in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Retail Key Account Management or Fashion experience would be an advantage, but is NOT a prerequisite. Sales and marketing ingenuity are most important. Hence, this role is also suited to executives from marketing (e.g. Senior Brand \ Marketing Manager) or advertising agencies (Client Service \ Strat Planner) or retail consultancies.
Key deliverables are to drive revenue growth by:
1. Developing and executing Key Account business plans
2. Building excellent Key Account relationships: tailored promotions, launching products, developing marketing activities
3. Leading a cross functional, internal team
