We are looking for an experienced social media manager with 2-4 years of experience in a professional (agency or in-house) environment.
Responsibilities:
Taking ownership of client accounts as a member of the social media team by managing a select number of client accounts to ensure accurate and timely delivery of all social media content across channels including, but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Google Plus and YouTube.
Content Creation ? This includes researching specific topics for your clients and writing articles and creating images to be posted to client blogs, then sharing these posts across social media channels.
Content Reviews & Editing - We are in need of a manager with strong grammar and writing skills to serve as the editor for posts that are written across the team. This includes helping with topic selection, then reviewing and editing all blog posts for grammar and accuracy before they are posted.
Assisting in executing administrative functions for the Social Media department including reviews of monthly analytic reports, managing site-visit calendars, and other operational processes.
Working closely with the CEO and client teams to set client social media strategy, identify relevant social media trends and recommend cutting edge technology or tactics. Participating in client meetings, calls or presentations as the face of social media for those accounts.
Who We Need:
Our social media specialist will need a broad knowledge of social media and truly understand what it takes to drive relevant traffic across multiple social platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, Pinterest and other emerging spaces.
The winning candidate will also have a strong awareness of broader PR with an understanding of marketing concepts and functions.
An extremely organized individual who will need to coordinate the campaigns maintain content and blog schedules of several accounts, and do so at the lightning pace of social media.
Meticulous attention to detail. Every item published is an official statement from the brand, and we'll need you to spot and correct errors in content and creative as a back up to clients who have in-house social media teams.
This position requires 3-5 years of experience, working in a corporate or agency setting, focused on social media, communications, or digital marketing.
Strong writing skills required.
