Most new bicycles and parts sold today, especially in big box stores, are made and assembled in places like China and India, with cheap plentiful labor, this is why you can buy a new bike for under $200.
This bike however, was made in The USA, using American workers, who worked for an American company (which no longer exists).
17" Men's xxxx Univega Alpina S6.3 mountain bike is in its original factory (assembled) condition.
All of the parts and accessories are original except the saddle (seat) which has been replaced with a Trek gel saddle and either (or both) of the Ritchey Z-Max tires have been replaced because the rubber breaks down with age.
I have tricked-out the bike with the following accessories:
* Trek Gel Saddle
* Cycle CD design welded bike rack
*Avenir ATB U-shackle (high security, wide width, bike lock)
*water bottle cage
