RARE COLT Transitional NEW SERVICE 7 1/2" barrel, Very Rare / scarce "Stylized" "C" markings on frame with Rampant COLT LOGO. In Beautiful Excellent Condition. "ALL ORIGINAL", Beautiful SUPER QUALITY "Mirror Blue" COLT Finish. 'Easily' 93 - 94% 'plus' condition. VERY NICE! The only real wear is on the front and back strap area with a few very small spots on the r/s frame,...or, it would easily be 97-98% plus!!! THE ORIGINAL "FIRE BLUE on the Trigger and back of Hammer is near 99%, near impossible to find from this period of FINE finishes. The fire-blue on the screws is fading. See photos. This VINTAGE and CLASSIC COLT IS IN FANTASTIC shape. The photos do not really show how nice it displays and presents. SUPER Mechanical Condition with a nice clean bore with fine lines and grooves. SUPER STRONG, Super beautiful, inside and out. The COLT Grips are near "immaculate"! This Pistol is very special also,... as it is a nice and rare "Transitional" New Service,.. especially in this ALL ORIGINAL CONDITION,.. and "UN-MESSED" With! And when you consider that this "BEAUTY" of a COLT IS "OVER 100 YEARS OLD",... It would be VERY HARD to upgrade on this one! YES,... the serial# and research of this FINE COLT, reveals that it was manufactured in "xxxx",... "105" YEARS *YOUNG*! Also,... the serial # makes this COLT ONE OF THE LAST OF THE "TRANSITIONAL" NEW SERVICE COLTS. They were only made in xxxx- and xxxx to xxxx, as the last were manufactured were the ONLY ones to have the "STYLIZED" *C* with the rampant COLT.
