Beautycon Media is looking for an experienced Media Buyer to drive viewership of Beautycon Digital content across all channels and platforms. The Media Buyer will be responsible for seeking out, negotiating, and purchasing media space for Beautycon Media. Responsibilities:Oversee targeting, placement and optimization of online media buys using to capitalize on ROI and hit key KPIsIdentify digital media buying opportunities by growing current relationships and identifying new, profitable partnersPossess an understanding of the digital landscape and stay current with new technologies and trends that can be incorporated into media driven solutions.Close media deals, launch new campaigns, utilizing buying experience to fulfill on KPIsReport on media results for internal projects and external brandsLead analysis of campaign results (SEM/PPC/PPV) to optimize campaigns to hit KPIsIdentify buying opportunities and effective strategies within the content spaceImplement and employ tools to help content ad testing, from multivariate ad creation to SEO optimization to page interaction trackingManage client's budgets and keep SEM/PPC/PPV campaigns within these budgetsWorking with marketing to direct pre:roll video content strategy and copy so that both will drive the best click:through ratesWork with digital sales team to create strategic content packages to hit client KPIsReach highest number of people with lowest:priced ad possibleCoordinate launch of media campaigns with marketing, communications, and sales departmentsKeep abreast of industry figures, including distribution and audience figuresMonitor buying strategiesMonitor and optimize effectiveness of campaignsBuild relationships with media sales companiesNegotiate rates with media sales companies to obtain most competitive pricesCollect information about the kinds of audiences that can be reached by the different media and the approximate size of those audiencesRecommend which days and times ads should runPrepare advertising schedulesManaging Beautycon ad inventory, working with sales to determine content to sell Requirements:3:5 years media buying experience (preference for agency buying)Proficient mathematical skills with an ability to simplify complex problems/conceptsStrong negotiation skillsStrong verbal communication skillsEstablished relationships in media (specifically digital)Extensive market knowledgeAbility to recognize an arbitrage opportunityAnalytical thinking with strong media math and research skills
