Job Description:
This positions primary responsibility is to assist with and facilitate the technical development, management, and deployment of all upcoming/ongoing projects. These projects range from managing site up time to multiple platform application development, new network/partner integration development etc.The job duties required specifically these projects include:- learning the CMS and APIs completely, and providing technical guidance and support to the project's 3rd party developers,- providing technical documentation for code developed,- resolving any technical integration issues, encountered by the 3rd party developers,- Managing, tracking, and reporting on all projects on an ongoing basisThis individual is passionate about online, on:demand media, and the various services and apps available for consuming this content. Furthermore, this individual understands the application development and publishing lifecycle from a technical perspective, and has experience project managing and delivering VOD streaming services and/or applications. The ideal candidate will have an in:depth understanding of and demonstrated work experience with Agile software development methodologies, web and mobile application development, web and application programming languages and project management best practices so as to be able to effectively manage multiple concurrent projects. SKILLS: Strong and demonstrated project management experience with online, mobile, and/or OTT products- Minimum of 4 years project management work experience at a consumer:facing internet company- Minimum of 2 years practicing Agile Scrum methodology- Minimum of 3 years of web and/or application development and coding experience- Previous experience project managing the development of a mobile or console application from start to finish is preferred- Demonstrated understanding of mobile (IOS, Android, Windows Phone, etc.) and/or OTT (XBOX, PS3, LG, Samsung, etc.) app publishing process from app build receipt to release- Strong knowledge of and experience with project management tools and/or software packages- Demonstrated leadership skills with managing people- Experience working in a team:oriented, collaborative environment- Strong attention to detail- Ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects in various stages of development- Ability to secure cooperation from senior management and other departments- Excellent communication skills : both written and verbal.- Self:managing, impeccable follow:thru, multi:tasking- College degree required, Advanced degree preferred- BS/MS in computer science, engineering, or information technology (or equivalent) preferred- Agile and/or PMP Certification desired Spanish is a Must
