Tucked on a side street near Coldwater Canyon in Beverly Hills, this luxury vacation rental has a secluded outdoor space and canyon views, but is still close to shopping, dining, nightlife and more. The magazine-worthy, recently renovated interiors and four suite-style bedrooms pair modern French style with South African artwork to chic, memorable effect. Owned by a Hollywood event producer, the villa is well appointed to accommodate entertaining or private moments. Like a secret garden, a terrace made from reclaimed, century-old bricks is tucked behind the house, overlooking the canyon. Put your favorite music on the outdoor speakers and soak in the California sun from the lounge chairs, break for a swim in the pool, and fire up the barbecue before settling in to the al-fresco dining area. On cooler evenings, move indoors and have a drink from the wet bar or wine fridge or relax in front of the Apple TV. If you need to stay connected, the house has an office space and Wi-Fi. Sanctuary in the Hills combines the sprawling layout of a bungalow with the refinement of a mansion. Taking inspiration from the French modern aesthetic, Mediterranean style and the artwork of the owner's native South Africa, the property feels at once contemporary and classic.
